David Carr grew up in SE Portland, where his love for basketball began. He played CYO and AAU through elementary and middle school. David then went on to Central Catholic where he received 3 varsity letters. He was named First-Team All State his Senior year, Mt.Hood Conference Player of the Year his Senior year, three time Three-Point Les Schwab Champion his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years, and McDonald All-American nominee his Senior year. After high school, David Carr received a full four-year athletic scholarship to play basketball for the University of Portland. David started his Freshman year and the beginning of his Sophomore year, until he suffered a season-ending knee injury. David was able to come back strong for his Junior season, but suffered another career-ending knee injury the summer before his Senior year. David has been running his basketball academy for the past four years and helped many athletes take their game to the next level. David graduated with a degree in Organizational Communications and is now married, with a handsome young son and beautiful daughter.
